Rajasthan: Couple from Italy found positive for COVID-19 virus

In Rajasthan, a couple that came from Italy has been found positive for COVID-19 virus. The couple came to visit Rajasthan with a group of 23 people. One person from this group was admitted at Sawai Man Singh Hospital in Jaipur on February 29. The sample of this patient, which had been sent to National Institute of Virology, Pune, has tested positive. State Medical and Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma said that the sample of this patient's wife has also been tested positive. Both patients are kept in isolation in the Hospital. He said that the remaining 21 tourists have reached Delhi from Agra, where they have been kept in isolation. The group of tourists reached Jaipur after visited Mandawa, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Alert is sounded by the health department after the Confirmation of Corona in the state. Isolation wards have been set up in all medical colleges and district hospitals.  Public awareness campaign has also been launched to protect people from this disease.
